Step 1 — One bar at a time

A bar is often one line. Loop one until your mouth stops tripping.

Step 2 — Speak, then rap

Say the bar on a flat pitch slowly. Anchor consonants (t, k, p) that beats usually smear.

Step 3 — Double-time at half speed

Play the beat at 0.5–0.75× if your player allows. Shadow on beat before you chase full tempo.

Step 4 — Consonant checklist

Pick three endings in the bar. Make them audible in speech mode first.

Step 5 — Rejoin the song

Shadow only that bar with the artist. Then string two bars.
